Prom Make-up 2015

My prom was on the 30th June 2015 and I thought I'd share what I wore on my face! (Excuse the super long post)

Base

No7 Airbrush Away Primer - I only have this in a mini size which I got in a set from Christmas but I will definitely be repurchasing when it runs out (which it nearly has). It makes my skin feel like a smooth canvas and foundation applies a lot better on top of it.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation in N2 Vanilla - I love this foundation because it is super blendable and long lasting. However, I find it can cling to dry patches so make sure you moisturise properly.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory - I use this under my eyes. It is really brightening and doesn't crease under my eyes like the Nars concealer does.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla - This concealer is great for blemishes and anything you need covering up, but I find it creases a lot under my eyes. Nevertheless, it is a very good concealer.

Setting the Base

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent - I have had this powder for over a year now (yes I know that's a long time) and there's only a small dip in it despite me using it every day. It's a really nice powder and doesn't look cakey.
Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit Light Powder - I absolutely love this palette and couldn't rave about it enough. This shade is perfect for setting and brightening my under eye concealer.

Eyebrows

Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe - I've never had the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade but from the YouTuber 'Emily Rose', I've learnt that this is comparable to it. I absolutely love it for my brows and it's my new favourite.
Miss Sporty Just Clear Mascara - This is a great tool for setting my brows into place.

Eyeshadow

Naked 2 Urban Decay Basics Palette - I dusted the shade 'Frisk' using a Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer brush into my crease.
Sleek Storm Palette - Using a flat shadow brush, I packed the shade 'Snow Storm' (the lightest shade) on the inner part of my eyelid and 'Perfect Storm' (the pink shade) onto my outer part of my lid. Using the ecotools concealer brush I blended it all out with a bit more of 'frisk'.

Eyes

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye liner in Intense Black - This is a really easy eyeliner to use which is super black and won't budge all day, no matter what.
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in 071 Pure White - I lightly apply this to my waterline.
Kiko Eye Lash Curlers - These are really affordable yet effective at holding the curl.
No7 Extravagant Volume Mascara in Black - I feel as though this mascara does not get enough credit. It makes your lashes super long and gives 'extravagant' volume, whilst holding the curl so well throughout the day. It beats all my other mascaras.

Cheeks

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit - I use the middle 'bronzey' shade to bronze up my face. I then take the third cooler toned brown to contour my cheekbones and temples. It's not muddy and is very blendable.
Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in 6 Powder Pink - I love this cream blush because it does not move all day. I swatched it once and through a shower and regular hand washes it was still slightly there. It's longevity is insane.
MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter in Iridescent Gold - This highlighter is amazing value for money. I apply it with a fan brush and its pigment is incredible and gives a gorgeous golden sheen.

Lips

Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in 063 East End Snob - For some reason this liner goes a bit flaky on me and clumps up a bit however I still love the colour.
Maybelline Colour Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in 630 Nude Perfection - This colour is gorgeous but wasn't as long lasting as I would have hoped.

Here's a picture of me just before my prom. My dress is from Oh My Love:)
